Season of Victory

There are parts of your life where you have not felt safe, where you have not felt victorious. But today I am declaring a season of victory. For I have allowed the enemy to pursue you, but not destroy you. For I have set a trap for him, who would destroy your life. But that which has trapped you, will soon bring destruction to him. Seek Me in prayer and I will reveal to you My plan. I will activate a new faith and a new hope. For now you see the plans of the enemy, but soon you will see My plans. For as you go through the sea on the dry land of truth, the enemy will pursue you onto My holy ground only to see the weight of their own lies trap them and crush them in defeat. Pray for your enemies and those deceived by the lies of the evil one, for maybe they will repent. Maybe not. But have mercy, for you serve a merciful God.

Exodus 14:1-4

Then the LORD said to Moses, "Tell the Israelites to turn back and encamp near Pi Hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea. They are to encamp by the sea, directly opposite Baal Zephon. Pharaoh will think, 'The Israelites are wandering around the land in confusion, hemmed in by the desert.' And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and he will pursue them. But I will gain glory for myself through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD." So the Israelites did this.

Exodus 14:15-16

Then the LORD said to Moses, "Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.

Exodus 14:23-26

The Egyptians pursued them, and all Pharaoh's horses and chariots and horsemen followed them into the sea.

During the last watch of the night the LORD looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion. He made the wheels of their chariots come off so that they had difficulty driving.

And the Egyptians said, "Let's get away from the Israelites! The LORD is fighting for them against Egypt."

Then the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand over the sea so that the waters may flow back over the Egyptians and their chariots and horsemen."

Commentary

This prophetic word reveals that God has planned a trap for His enemies in these last days. The reference in Exodus 14:24 to the “last watch of the night” is the forth watch which is also referred to in:

Matthew 14:25-27

During the fourth watch of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "It's a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid."

I believe this refers to these last days because the forth watch is from 3:00am to dawn, which represents from the darkest of the night to the dawning of His return.

The key to this prophetic word appears to be the revealing that God has a plan as He did when He told the Israelites to camp in a place that lured the enemy to them. God has a plan to destroy the spiritual enemies that are pursuing you, and we should seek him to understand His plan. This understanding will give you new hope and faith.

This word seems to equate the dry land on the bottom of the Red sea to the truth that we stand and walk on. However the enemy trying to pursue you will get bogged down in the mud of their own lies as the weight of the sea collapses on them.

As it was for the Israelites, the destruction of their enemies was intended to declare that God was with them and all who oppose them will end up destroyed by God. There is much more you can relate to from the included verses from Exodus 14. But know that God will often use situations in your life to demonstrate a prophetic pattern from scripture. Therefore it is important to understand the pattern and the final victory so that your hope and faith will increase.

The final piece of the prophetic word says that we should pray for our enemies even though they are trying to destroy us. This is a new testament concept that we should pray for people to get saved from the evil spirits that have control over them. Because our real enemy is not the people, but the evil spirits. I believe the greatest defeat for evil is when the evil person repents and turns to God for salvation. The situation you are in could very well be used by God to demonstrate who He is to a person who you believe is your enemy. This situation will give them a chance to repent. Maybe they will, and maybe they won’t, but in either case, God will deliver you.
