Many Hail to Babylon

Many hail to you, oh Babylon. For we laude you as the ultimate destination, and the pinnacle of mankind. Yet you are the ultimate anti-New Jerusalem.

We know not what we ask for.

Would we ask for the destruction of our children? Would we seek their demise?

The very thing we desire is the very thing we reject. For Christ has died so that we may have a new Jerusalem, a heaven on earth that is ruled by the King of Kings. Yet we build the walls to keep Him out and we turn our hearts away from the gift of eternal life.

O, to the God of Israel. May those who call You their God turn back to You before it is too late.

Zechariah 2:7

"Come, O Zion! Escape, you who live in the Daughter of Babylon!"
