Build an Ark

As Noah was called to build an ark, I am calling you to build an ark. This ark is an ark of warning, but also an ark of hope and salvation. For I have declared to you the times of the turmoil, confusion and darkness that floods the world. But each of you must prepare an ark of salvation for your family and those I choose to rescue. Intercede with Me through your prayers, for this is your ministry to Me. Be My witness of the times at hand and for the times soon to come. Study My word and prepare a testimony for this season. Prepare the ark of prayers as I lead you, and I will fulfill them at the right time. As Noah set out in faith, you must also build in faith. Noah was not an ark builder by trade, but he met with Me daily to plan the work and receive what was needed. So must you. For the water is rising and those seeking refuge will come led by My Spirit. Don’t wait to start or start to wait. Start to work.

Genesis 6:12-14

God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. So God said to Noah, "I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.”

Commentary

This word implies that a judgment is coming. Noah had over one hundred years to build his ark. I don’t believe we have that much time. God wants to rescue people from the judgment coming, but to be rescued, they must be in the ark when the flood hits. I believe that this word is calling us to prepare a testimony for these times and the times ahead, that we may offer a warning to those that God leads us to and those He leads to us. We must be ready to lead them to the salvation of the cross and into the discipleship of Jesus. Then we must continue to pray for them to receive the truth of their situation and repent. For the kingdom of God is truly at hand.
