A New Menu

Now the working of the Spirit is manifest to My believers. Now the faith of My chosen is rising as we dine together for each meal of revelation, relationship, and family. For you have opened the door and I have come in to dine with you. But now, I am expanding the menu and I am expanding the agenda. Come to the table prepared to try new things and discuss new things. My Spirit is preparing new food, new bread, and new wine for us to share as we begin to talk about the new things that I am bringing to the table. Can you sense My joy and excitement for the sharing of My new deep truths of what is and what is to come. Come to the table of My presence hungry for our time together and expecting new delights and new challenges.

Revelation 3:20-22

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

This prophetic word tells me that God is expanding of topic of discussion with Him. The word starts with the word “now” indicating that we have reached a point in time where faith and the manifestation of His Spirit are rising. The picture I see here is one of a family dinner table where meals and family discussions are held daily. This scripture I included is from the letter to the church of Laodicea which is the last church of the seven addressed in the Revelation and arguably the church of the last days. Although this church becomes apostate and spit out by Jesus, those who overcome during these days get a wonderful reward to sit with Him on His throne. I see this as a beautiful reference to the bride and the kingdom government. It is interesting that the one who opens the door is the one that “hears My voice”, not just hears the knocking.

The prophetic word continues by saying that He is “expanding the menu” and “ expanding the agenda”. The menu to me indicates the areas of revelation and the agenda indicates the topics of discussion with Him. I believe that this means that up until now, for many of us, He has kept our focus with Him on certain issues such as personal healing and body ministry, but I believe He is saying that He now wants to talk more about what He is doing and what He needs us to do for Him. Since the word from the Revelation indicates that we are to be with Him on His throne, then I am assuming that He wants to prepare us for our position in His soon coming Kingdom, but this is only my thought. I guess we will have to wait and see what new things He wants to share. All I am sure of is that if He passes it to me, I want to take it and try it. And if He wants to talk about something I don’t understand, I am going to ask questions.
