Divide and Multiply

This year you will begin to divide and multiply. Until now it seems that Kingdom mathematics was only to add and subtract, but this season you will divide and multiply. Each of you will receive separate assignments that you will take on separately, but with help from each other. For my vision is for each of My chosen to have a place of calling that they will lead. This is so that followers can learn to be leaders and leaders can learn to be supporters in My Kingdom. This is what truly brings the multiplication that the few can affect the many. So followers must seek their place of leadership from me and put their hand to the work. Leaders must seek their place of service to help others fulfill their calling.

Revelation 5:10

You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth."

1 Corinthians 12:20-23

As it is, there are many parts, but one body. The eye cannot say to the hand, "I don't need you!" And the head cannot say to the feet, "I don't need you!" On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor.

Commentary

This prophetic word says that God intends to expand His Kingdom by separating or dividing individuals into their own callings as opposed to having many followers and a few leaders. He is saying that each of us has a calling to be a leader in the kingdom. This is shown in Revelation 5:10 above. We are to rule and reign over all of creation beside Jesus as the bride of the King, the Queen. So I believe He is saying that now He is expecting us to move out in our own calling and not just follow some else in their calling. He is also saying that He is holding those currently leading responsible to help encourage and support others as they seek to establish themselves in what God has called them to do. Unfortunately, there are still many who think that God has purposed many people to serve them and their calling rather than to help them move out in their own calling.
