Stepping Out

Today is a new day to step out.  Out of your fear.  Out of your doubt.  Out of the box that the enemy has caged around you.  Step into the gap.  Into the fear of others.  Into the doubt of this world.  Into the face of the enemy’s strongholds that have caged others.   For though you are waiting for a savior, I have made you the savior.  I have given you My Spirit of Truth that sets the captive free.  I have given you the anointing that breaks the yoke of lies.  The world needs to know the answer.  I will confirm My word in their hearts, but first you must give it.  No apologies.  No excuses.  No qualifiers.  It is not just what you believe.  It is truth.

Romans 10:13-17

for "Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved."

How then shall they call upon Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?  And how shall they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring glad tidings of good things!"

However, they did not all heed the glad tidings; for Isaiah says," Lord, who has believed our report?"  So faith {comes} from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

Commentary

This prophetic word is given to chosen believers who are willing to accept the call of Jesus for their lives.  It is a challenge to step out in faith to fulfill the commission of Jesus to witness and make disciples (Matt 28:19,20).  Not only have Jesus challenged us to fulfill his word, He has empowered us.  Consider the following:

Acts 1:8

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Acts 2:1, 4

1        When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. . .

4        All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

All who were present received the power to witness.  If you have received the Holy Spirit, then you have been empowered and commissioned to step out.  This doesn’t mean you have to be employed in ministry, unless you believe that only ordained ministers can have the Holy Spirit, or that the Holy Spirit was only given to the 120 in the upper room.  But if you are reading this, then you know that you have received the Holy Spirit and He will bear witness that this word is true, and for you.

Know that also besides having the Holy Spirit, you have been given the Gospel of Jesus Christ as a message ordained by God to bring the salvation of Christ to everyone in the world who would receive it.  So not only do you have the power of the Holy Spirit to deliver and confirm the message, but you have been given the message of the Gospel which also has power.

Romans 1:16

I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.

The passage above in Romans 10:13-17 reveals that we have been entrusted to share the gospel, the good news.  This passage promises that God will be faithful to save all that receive and believe the Gospel message.  He also promises that He will give faith to believe, to all that hear the Gospel.  Our part is the easy part.

This prophetic word finishes with the exhortation that the Gospel that you share is not just about what you believe.  It is not just a religious marketing message.  It is the truth.  Therefore, all contradictory beliefs are error, deception, and lies.  And God is willing and able to prove that, to all who will choose to believe the Gospel Truth, through the power of His Spirit.
