The New Path

We must speak to the things that paralyze us. For we are called with the authority to push beyond the things we have allowed to limit us.

The enemy desires us to wear the comfortable shoes that only allow us to travel the familiar paths.

God has a new path for us with no limitations. So come before the throne and speak to the things that are holding us back from the new path.

Philippians 3:12-14

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Commentary

This prophetic word addresses the situation of a believer who has reached the end of a path but is not able to move on. We sometimes think that God has sidelined us, when often it is just that He is trying to move you to another path. Paul had many such situations in his ministry, but continually pressed forward from place to place, determined to spread the Gospel. But so often we are not willing even to try another path because of fear, or lack of courage. But God is able to empower us if we willing to press on.
