Family Christmas

I am calling for a family Christmas this year. Not just your earthly family, but your kingdom family. For this year I have built new spiritual families and this season you will discover that this new family is My gift to you. Rejoice and share together a new joy, a new love, a new hope with your new family. Know that I have a place for you and I have a family for you that will grow stronger as the time approaches. Begin to share the thoughts and plans I have put in your heart for the coming season. For you will work together to manifest and experience My Kingdom. You will share the joy and the love and the work I have ordained for these exciting times. Know that these times are precious to Me and I rejoice when My family comes together for Christmas.

John 13:34-35

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

Matthew 12:46-50

While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. Someone told him, "Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you."

He replied to him, "Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?"

Pointing to his disciples, he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers.

For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother."

Commentary

This prophetic word reveals that God has joined us together with other believers for His purposes, but also for our joy. In this year past, we have watched as the world has separated from God’s kingdom, as also the Kingdom has separated from the world. However, God has given us relationship with other true believers that allow us to share the things of the Kingdom that the world does not accept. We have become Kingdom families with Christ as the head.

Jesus reveals in John 13:34-35 that one of the key characteristics of this family that He has given us is that we will have love for one another. This will begin to manifest more in our lives as we see that this spiritual family will grow stronger in these times and the times soon to come.

Jesus also made a hard statement of His family when He said in Matthew 12:46-50 that His family was those who do the will of His Father. He was very specific to show that even His Mother was superseded in the family unless she followed God’s will. In this case it was believed that Jesus’ family was come to express concern and try to get Him to dial it back on the ministry work. But the point Jesus makes it that His closest family is His heavenly family. Indeed, this is the family that is eternal as we leave our earthly parents to be joined to our new husband.

So therefore, we are encouraged to make time this Christmas season to share in the Lord’s joy by having the family that He has created for you join together with Him.
